If you are a newbie and don’t have any idea about customization of templates then you might be facing some problems with your custom template’s default settings. The highly seen problem is, after installing a template, post date stops showing up. You checked in Setting >> Formatting or everywhere you could but you found no problem in your blog’s settings. So what is the real problem?
Actually in your template, the post date is set not to display because many of us don’t really want to show the exact publishing date of the post in case you don’t update your blog for a long time. An outdated blog leaves a very bad impression on the visitors. But if you want to show the date on your blog, then you can, by a small trick.
