Very simple, just follow the steps given below:

  1. Go to Blogger Dashboard >> Settings
    Blogger Settings
  2. Then click on Search Preferences
    Search Preferences
  3. Click on “Edit” which is present below Meta tags
    Edit Description
  4. Now select “Yes” radio button then a small blank dialogue box will open.

Write your Blog’s search description there and click on Save Changes.

Done!

That’s all. Now you will find a Search Description column in your blog’s post editor.

Search Description ColumnWrite a short description about your post in it. Write within 156 characters (including spaces) so that the whole search description can be seen by the users on the SERPs.
