Reliance Digital is progressively increasing the latest smartphones in its Wind series. After company’s last launch of LYF Wind 2 smartphone, which was priced at Rs. 8,299, Reliance has launched LYF Wind 3 also. This continuous addition of smartphones is expanding Reliance’s portfolio of smartphones.
The Flipkart exclusive Reliance LYF Wind 3 will go on sale from August 10 with Jio 4G Preview Offer. As Reliance LYF Wind 3 is a successor of LYF Wind 2, its features are also upgraded.
Reliance Digital LYF Wind 3 Specifications
Priced at Rs. 6,998, Reliance LYF Wind 3 features a 5.5-inch 720p HD display, and is powered by 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor coupled with Adreno 306 graphics processor. The smartphone comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. The internal storage is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card slot.
Reliance LYF Wind 3’s 5.5-inch display comes with 5-point multi-touch and is protected by an Asahi Glass. The display has a density of 267ppi. Reliance LYF Wind 3 sports a 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera. The 8MP primary camera comes with LED flash and supports auto focus, touch focus, face detection, manual HDR and panorama. The front and rear cameras also support up to 6X digital zoom.
The Reliance LYF Wind 3 is 9.4mm thick and weighs 159.2 grams. The smartphone is backed by a non-removable 2,920mAh Li-Ion polymer battery. The smartphone runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and supports 4G LTE bands in both TDD and FDD categories.
Reliance Jio 4G SIM Preview
Reliance is offering Jio 4G Preview Offer with LYF Wind 3 smartphone. The Jio 4G Preview offers gives unlimited 4G data for three months (90 days). Reliance Jio is planning to commercially launch its 4G services in India very soon. Although, lately, Reliance has taken a great step towards slow expansion of its Jio Preview by providing access to some Samsung Galaxy smartphones, iPhones and HP computers.
Reliance LYF smartphones remain the easiest way to get a Jio 4G SIM. Reliance Jio 4G SIM will support VoLTE calling, which is Voice-over LTE, and the company is expected to do a full commercial launch in the coming months. Most users who have tried the service are reporting high-speeds for the Internet service.
